From TikTok to touring: A look at the sound of Sienna Spiro

British soul-pop artist Sienna Spiro has quickly become one of the most exciting emerging voices in music by building a loyal audience with her emotional songwriting and her powerful vocals.

The singer, who started on TikTok, had a global breakthrough in 2025 with her single ‘Die On This Hill’, writes Music News Blitz writer Spencer Oza.

Sienna Spiro’s music journey

Spiro's journey into the music industry began at a very young age.

She was writing her own songs from the age of 10, using music as a way to express her thoughts and feelings.

Her first song was inspired by her experiences of being bullied, and she often draws on her emotions in her songs.

This has really helped her shape her approach to honest and personal songwriting.

She continued to find her sound when she enrolled at East London Arts and Music (ELAM), and while she was there, she carried on sharing her talent online, including a TikTok cover of Finneas’ ‘Break My Heart Again’.

In 2021, her TikTok ended up going viral.

Between the original music and acoustic covers of songs she was sharing, her raw voice attracted dedicated listeners and her fanbase grew.

This caught the attention of record labels and a manager, and she dropped out of music college to focus on her music career full-time.

Spiro’s decision led to her signing with Capitol Music Records.

Discovering her audience

Although she started her public gig at pubs near London, her career later took off on a larger scale.

Her first formal live debut was in 2018, when she performed as an opener for another artist at New York’s Mercury Lounge.

Fans connected with the intimacy of her performances and her ability to recreate the emotion of her recordings on stage.

As Spiro’s streaming numbers and social media following grew, opportunities to perform at larger venues became more frequent.

Her breakthrough moment arrived with ‘Die On This Hill’, introducing Spiro to a global audience and helping her establish her identity in modern soul-pop.

The new tour

After her standout performance at Capital’s Summertime Ball and her rapid rise in popularity, Spiro has now announced a new world tour called ‘The My House Tour’.

This was an important milestone to mark her transition from an online discovery to a touring artist.

The tour represents her biggest live commitment so far and allows fans to experience her music in larger venues.

Demand for tickets has been strong; two separate presales have already launched and tickets sold out within minutes.

What comes next

With sold-out shows and increasing industry attention, Spiro appears to be entering a new stage of her career.

From writing songs as a child to performing in front of growing crowds, her rise reflects how artists can build careers through a combination of personal storytelling, digital platforms and live performances.

Spiro's voice has also crossed over to the big screen, as she contributed an original track ‘Material Lover’ to The Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack and has cited major interest in transitioning to film music in the future.

As the tour continues, attention will now turn to how Spiro develops her live identity and whether her momentum can establish her as one of the defining new voices in British pop.
