Ones to watch at Glastonbury 2025: Denzel Curry, Beabadobeem, The Prodigy and more
Glastonbury is one of the biggest festivals in the UK, and arguably one of the best in the world.
With the 40th iteration of the festival in 55 years finally here, Music News Blitz’s Charlie Gardner and festival goers from all over make the annual pilgrimage to Somerset in hopes of seeing their favourite artists and having a weekend to remember.
This year’s three-day festival hosts a group of headliners spanning a range of genres and audiences.
The 1975 kick things off on Friday, taking to the stage with their legendary indie pop songs - you can expect as vocal a crowd as ever here!
Saturday sees the untouchable Neil Young still going at the ripe age of 79, proving age is but a number.
Finally, Sunday’s spectators are able to catch the fantastic Olivia Rodrigo turning heartbreak into something to sing and dance about.
But which other non-headliners should you look out for? And are there any that may be overlooked by those already aware of them or their work? Whether watching in the fields or sitting in bed at home, this article’s got you covered.
Friday
Wunderhorse
First off, a shout-out to everyone and their dog in Wunderhorse.
Yes, you’ve probably heard them, and no, they’re not as underground as they once were, but most familiar with this group expect them to be on a rise that may see the group become one of the biggest in the world very soon.
The band is known for their catchy rock songs with fantastically strong music and unparalleled vocals from front man Jacob Slater.
The consensus is they’re only going to get more popular - make sure you get to know them sooner rather than later! Wunderhorse will take to the Park Stage at 7:30pm.
Denzel Curry
One non-headlining artist that you might not want to miss could be Denzel Curry, a hip-hop artist from Florida who knows how to put on a show.
Curry truly knows how to put on a show and is known for his unique musical styles, embracing a range of genres, even at times incorporating jazz into his music.
His performances are full of energy, with a fantastic flow and socially conscious lyrics, those of you into rap music and innovative sounds will definitely want to check him out on the West Holts Stage at 7pm.

Saturday
Deftones
First recommendation for Saturday is Deftones.
Those of you into rock will already know about them, but might have your reservations as to whether the group have stood the test of time - you can be assured they have.
The group are currently touring, with fans around England more than satisfied with their setlists and stage presence, while lead singer Chino Moreno still sounds as good as ever.
For those unfamiliar with the band, this experience will be phenomenal.
From anywhere in the crowd, with fans who know how to get moving to their heavy beats, if moshing isn’t for you, don’t fret, as the band isn’t all heavy metal, with some dreamy ambient tracks as well as the crushing guitar riffs.
If you want something completely full of energy, look no further than the Other Stage at 8:30pm.
Beabadobee
After a more relaxed vibe? Singer and guitarist Beabadoobee also performs on Saturday, bringing her nostalgic, emotional and melancholic songs to the stage.
With hits such as “the perfect pair” and “Apple Cider”, Beabadoobee can encapsulate the crowd with her emotional and reflective lyrics and contagious stage presence that isn’t afraid to involve the fans.
For those who like to hear fuzzy guitar and a style somewhat reminiscent of the 90s, head to the Other Stage at 2pm because this one’s for you.

Sunday
Snow Patrol
Buried towards the bottom of the 2025 poster are the legendary Snow Patrol, a staple in the early 2000s alt-rock scene.
The band are known for their 2006 emotional ballad “Chasing Cars”, which epitomises why they are so popular - their sounds are ones of melodrama and romance, with an ability to bring the crowd on an emotional journey with them.
Not familiar with their newer tracks? You will assuredly get to know them, as they are effectively woven into setlists amongst songs that have the crowd singing every word.
If you want an emotional rollercoaster, make sure to get yourself to the Other Stage at 6pm.
The Prodigy
Finally, if you’re looking to end the weekend with a bang, make sure to be there for The Prodigy.
Pioneers of the UK dance scene, the group has seen a resurgence as they continue to sell out venues all over, providing countless crowds entertainment with their wild punk take on electric dance music, topped off by a heavy rock edge.
The unfortunate passing of frontman Keith Flint in 2019 may concern listeners who are familiar with the energy he brought.
However, there is no cause for concern in the entertainment department.
With stunning visuals and light shows, spectators will find themselves in awe at the performance, with a crowd that you will never forget being a part of.
If this ticks your boxes, they will be performing at the Other Stage from 9:45pm.
Glastonbury festival is renowned for a reason, holding a reputation as one of the biggest and boldest festivals around.
While there’s some heavy headliners, even those written smaller in the promo are phenomenal names - make sure not to miss them!
