Music news: Sabrina Carpenter and Madonna’s ‘Bring Your Love’ success - and what’s to come in the future

Sabrina Carpenter and Madonna joined forces and dropped a new track ‘Bring Your Love’  which was released on April 30.

The track is a single that was released ahead of Madonna’s upcoming album ‘CONFESSIONS II’, dropping in the summer on July 3 2026.

Here, Music News Blitz’s Amelie Da Costa gives a breakdown of the new track and their weekend two performance at Coachella.

The debut performance at Coachella

The first time the public heard the single ‘Bring Your Love’ was at Coachella 2026, where Sabrina headlined the main stage both weekends on Friday, April 10, and Friday April 17.

During weekend two’s performance, Carpenter brought out Madonna midway through her song  ‘Juno’ as a surprise guest to her performance, singing Madonna’s hits ‘Vogue’ and ‘Like a Prayer’.

The new track debuted for the first time live during the set almost two weeks before it was released on streaming services.

Madonna also performed a snippet of ‘Get Together’ in acapella before the last song she performed which was ‘Like a Prayer’.

‘Bring Your Love’ breakdown and information

‘Bring Your Love’ adopts Madonna’s classic dance-pop and disco sound that she has executed flawlessly for over 40 years throughout her career.

The song addresses critics and public judgement, with both artists showing their resilience to the backlash and their commitment to their careers, proving that nothing can stand in their way of their passion for making music.

This is the first collaboration between Sabrina Carpenter and Madonna, who are both from different generations of pop music, uniting modern day pop with old school dance-pop - and proving the two can go hand in hand.

The partnership shows Madonna’s influence on modern pop music and how she is still continuing to influence new artists with her sound, demonstrating that she has made a huge mark in the music industry over the years.

The single has performed well so far on Spotify, with 8.1 million streams just over a week since its release, confirming that Madonna still holds her popularity and success this far into her career.

Madonna’s new album

The new track stands as a single to Madonna's upcoming album ‘CONFESSIONS II’ which is set to release on July 3, 2026.

The album consists of 16 tracks and already has two singles that have been released which consist of ‘Bring Your Love’ and ‘I Feel So Free’, which is the opening track for the album.

‘I Feel So Free’, released on April 18, is a nod to one of her previous hits ‘Into the Groove’, from 1985, and it reflects on the earlier song’s lyrics within the title, acknowledging her career success and showing both her past and present music can be recognised at once.

The opening track of the album has also been a huge success, with 7.3 million streams on Spotify in nearly three weeks.

‘Bring Your Love’ has truly shown the influence that Madonna has had on modern pop music and how she inspires new artists such as Sabrina Carpenter.
