Dua Lipa’s surprise performance
Tame Impala opened up his UK performances in London at the O2 Arena on May 7, where Dua Lipa made a surprise performance.
The show opened with the song ‘Apocalypse Dreams’ from his 2012 album ‘Lonerism’ and closed on three songs during the encore, including ‘My Old Ways’, ‘The Less I Know the Better’ and ‘End of Summer’.
The setlist also included hit songs such as ‘Dracula’, 'Feels Like We Only Go Backwards' and ‘Let it Happen'.
Just over halfway through the show, Dua Lipa joined the stage as a surprise to fans to perform two songs, one being a Tame Impala song, the other being her own song.
The songs included ‘Afterthought’ which was released in 2025, where she joined onstage to sing the chorus, and the other being her 2024 hit ‘Houdini’ that Kevin Parker helped produce.
Some fans are speculating whether Tame Impala and Dua Lipa are planning on doing a remix to the song ‘Afterthought’, though no one has made it clear that those are the future plans for the song.
The final show of the Europe/UK leg will be on May 13 in Dublin, Ireland before it kicks off again almost two months later on July 6 in Miami, Florida.
The tour is far from over and we can't wait to see what is to come in the future for Tame Impala.
