Phoebe Bridgers announces surprise NYC show with tickets starting at $1

American singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers is performing a special one-night-only show at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden.

Earlier this week, flyers started appearing across New York City, advertising a Phoebe Bridgers show at Madison Square Garden, set for Thursday, June 4.

How much do tickets cost?

Phoebe Bridgers is doing all she can to create a fair, affordable and memorable experience for her fans.

First of all, the ticket prices range from $1 to $20, with all proceeds donated to the Immigration Bond Freedom Fund. 

To combat ticket scalpers, fans had to sign up via Bridgers’ website for the chance to be selected to purchase tickets.

Seats will be randomly assigned to successful fans, and this is the only way to purchase verified tickets.

In a world where concert tickets are becoming even more expensive, initiatives like this can allow fans to experience the art of live music without paying extortionate prices.

Phone usage at the concert

Another important aspect of this show is the rules surrounding mobile phones and recording devices. On the event poster, it is clearly stated that:

“No cellphones, smart watches, smart glasses, cameras, or recording devices are allowed.”

This is a feature that many artists are implementing at their shows, ensuring fans live in the moment and experience the concert through their own eyes - not a smartphone or camera. 

All tickets for this show have been allocated, and fans can join the waitlist for the chance to purchase last-minute tickets.
